Warranty Policy

At AMU Design Shop, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We are committed to ensuring your furniture is free from manufacturing defects and built to last. Our warranty policy is a reflection of this commitment, providing you with confidence in your purchase.

Warranty Period

All products purchased from AMU Design Shop are covered by a limited warranty for a period of [1 year] from the date of delivery. This warranty is non-transferable and is valid only for the original purchaser.

What Our Warranty Covers

Our warranty covers all manufacturing defects and workmanship issues under normal use and proper care. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Faulty joinery, where joints fracture under normal stress.
  • Hardware defects such as broken drawer slides, hinges, or knobs.

If a product or part is found to be flawed, we will either replace it or fix it. If a product is no longer available, we will give you a store credit or a similar replacement.

What Our Warranty Does Not Cover

Problems resulting from causes other than manufacturing flaws are not covered by our warranty. This comprises, but is not restricted to:

  • Normal wear and tear such as fabric fading, pilling, scratches, and small dents that happen over time.
  • Damage due to misuse, poor upkeep, improper cleaning, mishaps, spills, cuts, burns, or incidents involving pets.
  • Wood’s inherent natural variations such as knots, colour changes, and grain patterns.
  • Splitting or cracking of solid wood as a result of high humidity or temperature fluctuations.
  • damage resulting from unapproved product modifications or repairs.
  • Items that have come into contact with abrasive cleaning agents or harsh chemicals.
  • Products marked as “as-is,” “Clearance,” or “Final Sale.”

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, please follow these steps:
